The apartment itself is huge and beautiful. It has a bath which was a big pluse after a long day of seeing the island. The location is great, it’s one minute walk from the busy square and restaurants. And finally, the owners are the sweetest, welcoming you with homemade lemon juice and home grown oranges and lemons. I absolutely loved it!

Clean and comfortable withloads of outdoor space and surrounded by orange lemon and olive groves and a rolling view down to the sea. Having breakfast here before heading out in our hire car was one of the highlights. There’s a BBQ and 5 different possible outdoor eating locations. Spartia itself is tiny but has a couple of coffee bars and places to eat/ enjoy coctails. This is a fantastic chilled base for your exploration of Kefalonia (nothing is much more than a 1 hr drive away) Dennis met us on arrival and was friendly and helpful. He kept the baskets of eggs, oranges, lemons  and grapefruits topped up daily and OMG the juice! The taste of the med! George and Dennis: doing an amazing job., what a treat.

The Green Retreat is the best air BnB we have stayed at so far. The listing is very accurate to how the place is. The house is lovely and clean and the outside space is large and well laid out. George is very good at communication and replied very quickly, he was also very helpful with our questions. Dennis (George’s father) was the one we met and had contact with, he was brilliant, lovey and very helpful. He gave us fresh oranges and lemons from his trees. He was very nice to talk to and helped us with finding shops and places to go. We loved staying at the Green Retreat and would urge anyone to stay there! Thanks Dennis and George !

Very private, peaceful. More than enough space for 2 people. Denis, the owner, provided us with fresh eggs from his chickens just over the grape vine hedge and tomatoes, peppers etc from his garden. The view from either of the two outside dining areas over the trees out to the sea were mesmerising. Watching the breeze moving the trees and the sunlight on the sea beyond was truly one of the most relaxing experiences we have ever had. The occasional vehicle on the road didn’t spoil the peace at all. Spatia had all that was needed with no need to venture much further for an excellent restaurant, two bars and two mini markets, all walkable particularly after your evening meal and a few glasses of wine. All the local people we met were extremely friendly and helpful. Five days was not long enough to appreciate what a special place this is.

Dennis met us with a huge smile and made us feel at home immediately. Fresh eggs, oranges and olive oil from his allotment were waiting for us in the house. The garden is amazing and my two year old loved playing in it. The beach isn’t too far away, we even found a lovely hidden one. Shops and restaurants are close by in the little village and Argostoli is only a 10 min drive. A lovely place run by lovely people. We will def stay there again. Thanks again.

It was big enough For us. we were 4 adults and two Kids. It couldnt be any closer to the city center. Night life restaurants were Just few minutes away. ΓΙΩΡΓΟΣ was very kind and helpful. He and his Lively family made us feel like home. He gave us great advises For beaches, Good restaurants and some thing to do in this beautifull island.

The house is at a very convenient location, just a minutes walk from the main plaza and access to a host of restaurant, local bakeries and shopping streets. The house was clean and well equipped for 5 people to sleep along with air conditioning. George received us at checkin and very very friendly and helpful.
